FusionFall Retro Discussion / Re: April Fool Locator Thread
« on: April 01, 2019, 08:47:48 AM »
I've searched semi-thoroughly from camp kidney to habitat homes (so all of the suburbs) and found nothing. They're everywhere btw. Not just in major hubs, but atop buildings, near other NPCs and so on. The only good thing is that they have an icon on the minimap that you can find them with.

It doesn't really bother me whether they change item names at this point or not, but I would like to point out that the dragon blade could be rose quartz, which is a real thing and has a pinkish shade similar to the picture.

There are 4 previously unreleased sets (as far as I know) and a few misc items that were added to the game through golden eggs. You can check the thread on golden egg locations to learn a bit more on that. Also, don't place full trust in the wiki - it's only as right as people make it, so if it hasn't been updated, it can be misleading.

I had this problem several times as well, though not with a nano mission. The only way I managed to fix it was to forfeit the mission and get it again. Hopefully this gets fixed.. its pretty annoying when it happens on long missions.

FusionFall Retro Discussion / Re: 2010 Hat

Unfortunately the original devs didn't position this hat too well. We may be able to fix it, but I wouldn't look forward to it I'm afraid.
Would this glitch apply to the Leprechaun hat as well? (I think that was the name.. it was the green one of the same shape) I was never a huge fan of the 2010 hat, but I wore its green counterpart from time-to-time.

I'd be up for this. In-season events are always welcome, especially with Halloween/Christmas on the way.

Two of the silhouettes, the top left and bottom left are the 2010 hat and glasses respectively, and the third image on the right is most likely the disco ball hat based on the shape. A friend and I thought over this matter a day or two ago and this is the conclusion we came to.
That hat wasn't tradable as far as I remember. It really wouldn't fit the way they distribute items.
You're right, and that's the only thing that makes me doubt it could be that.. but I looked through the fusionfall wiki, and aside from some helmets that come close, that was the best fit for the shape. The disco hat was originally a part of the Christmas event along with the Big Foot set which you had to complete a series of missions to get.

FusionFall Retro Discussion / Re: Question about the Pencil Pack

In the original game, it was a special reward for a writing contest. I'm not sure how or if they'll put it in Retro, but it is not currently in the game.

FusionFall Retro Discussion / Re: Is it even possible ?

Assuming you got 16k FM every 5 minutes (That's a very high score race in green maw), which is VERY difficult to do by the way, and would be almost impossible to do consistently, you would reach the needed 3,300,000 FM in 17.2 hours. So honestly I doubt it. And this would be assuming you took no breaks at all during those 17.2 hours. Also, this isn't counting the time it would take to do all 36 nano missions. So yea, not likely.

FusionFall Retro Discussion / Re: How to get sets
« on: August 11, 2018, 10:55:48 PM »
The set you're thinking of was a code item bought separately from the game itself - a part of the Victory pack which offered the Spidermonkey set and Racer D set (as well as some other things). Unfortunately it isn't in the game at the moment and it is unclear if it will be in the future.

I'm down for it, I might be an hour late since I've been waking up at around 1 pm EST. lol
He said 12:00 PST which is 3 PM EST. You can sleep a bit if you'd like and still make it.

I'm right there with you on this one. My friends could tell you, I used to never take off the TOM helm. Unfortunately it was an item introduced during the birthday bash, so it isn't in Retro by default. There's been no confirmation about adding things from after the birthday bash, but it should be possible, and hopefully they do so. I'll be very depressed if I can't have it :/
