A literary masterpiece by daddy doom

A Day at Bravo Beach

I depart the slider at Marquee Row and start the long trek towards the beach
I use no vehicle; the slider is the only form of transportation I need
I trudge onward

Soon I can hear the waves crashing against the shore
I remove my tech camo boots and feel the sand trickle in between my toes
All four of them
It feels sandy

I switch out my blindfold for a sun visor
And strip myself of my fusion matter stained battle armor
I would hate to return to the fight with a bad tan

As I traverse the sunny beach I take in the many sounds
The Squish Scalers squishing
The Sand Creeps creeping
And the Turbo Jetskills … jetskilling?
The ambiance is calming and peaceful.

I finally lay down, having made it to my beach chair
I relax, taking in the atmosphere around me
The sea air overwhelms the stench of fusion matter

The Sandcastle Infected Zone looms ominously to my left
In the distance, the Shipwrecker keeps watch over his island
Reminders of the war that I fight daily
But not even Planet Fuse hanging over my head can ruin this vacation

I sink deeper into my chair, reaching comfort levels unknown to the rest of humanity
The sun beats down, hotter than the flames of the Firepits
I grow drowsy as I watch the Space Chickens and Mutant Eggplants play beach volleyball
It’s a slow game

I awaken adrift at sea
I call to the land for help, but the lifeguard tower is unattended apart from a talking skull
He is most definitely not Red Cross certified
Just when I had lost all hope
My Numbuh Two nano whispers into my ear
“zooma zoom”
We return to shore

I embark on my journey back to the slider
It was a good day at Bravo Beach
Even though Johnny Bravo was nowhere to be found

Wow I bet you had to farm fusion echo echo a long time to get all that big chill stuff

Strategic alt jumps and quick reaction times. Where you actually start the race is also very important.

Hey Riox. I say if you wanna sell it, then sell it. If you wanna keep it, then keep it. Whatever makes you happy then go for it. I gave the last one I had away to somebody for free just because they were looking for it, and just making a fellow player happy is worth more than a million taros for me personally. Just do whatever makes you comfortable. If you want to sell one but don't know for how much then make an offer to people. Who knows, you might sell it for more or less than a million. I personally say sell it for 500,000 taros. A million is way to much for any item in the game imo.

What a heartwarming statement  :)

As a general response to this thread, a item is worth whatever people are willing to pay for it. Any number of people can attempt to decree a certain value, but actual transactions will always mandate the actual price.

FusionFall Retro Discussion / Most difficult racing set to get?
« on: July 14, 2019, 05:08:14 PM »
Been grinding the racing sets and so far Fusion Wraith has been a struggle.

Here are the results of my several day grind for it:

This took roughly 7 hours of racing (about 7:15 per run).

Just accept that the races are easier alright? Most of the community has a hard time with races.

I didnt have a hard time with them, at least not after a few races, but i do see why people were complaning to lower the difficulty. Most of them, even myself, are only in it for the items, and making those items easier to get is great for everyone overall.

Are you unhappy with it? Yes, but its a deal of majority here, and the majority has trouble with races, so just accept the fact that they are easier now. You and many others are the minority who found them easy or just have too much time to learn and practice. Sadly a lot of the community isnt like that, and prefer to play casually, which is why i see this change as better for everyone.

I think it is pushing it to say that a majority was struggling. In a 400+ member fusionfall discord I only saw people complain about green maw, the rest of the races were perfectly doable for anyone who was willing to put in a tiny bit of effort. This update is never going away, people had all the time in the world to practice and improve upon their gameplay.

The classic "get good scrub routine." Here's what I meant. It's a drag to have to visit the map on a separate occasion just to practice. The practicality and necessity of doing so was irreverent to my point. Like we're saying. It feels like a chore. Enough said.

I hope you enjoy the latest patch then as routes and practicing are essentially meaningless now.

no more excuses for not getting crates ;)

Doing this race successfully would require you to scout the rout and explore until you know the whole or at least "most" of the map perfectly.

Yes, you should have a route planned out or else don't expect to get a crate. With the way the scoring system is set, it makes more sense to learn the race and the locations of all the pods instead of just rushing in and hoping you get a good score.

It takes around I think about 7 to 10 seconds, if not even longer, to have a platform move from one side of its path to the other. This wouldn't be so much of a problem, if there weren't so many platforms in an infected zone.

95% of the moving platforms can be skipped with a gumballed rocket&jump nano and also using alt-jumping/wall jumping. If you are waiting for every platform instead of moving forward then it will be much harder to find success.

Another issue I find with pods in racing though is sometimes they seem to be far above the moving platform and I had to jump to get it.

Is jumping a issue  :o

Been wanting a red one forever, orange doesn’t cut it for me
