Hello! I think it will take a while, maybe close to the end of the year.
I did see a post from Devan nd he says he's looking to squash the last bug within a week or 2
There are still some other stuff to do, at least I think so. Also, it is wohaymen who is working on the game.

There is no other stuff to do, they are so close, only eduardo nano mission and some launcher improvements left. it won't take until the end of the year, my guess is in mid- late july.

Currently the Sneak Peek Week is planned for 2018, it'll be a week of the future. Once that comes out, the full release of the future should of course be within a few months, and I assume the past will be quick after that. Currently, there are 2 main obstacles stopping development; Eduardo's pathing in the escort mission, which I assume has a lot of bugs involved, and launcher maintenance. Once those are solved, the SPW will begin.
It hasn't been officially confirmed to be an entire week for the sneak peek, the word weekend was just crossed out.

It has been said by Womayhem that a weekend is not enough. so it has been sorta confirmed that it will be a week long.



I know this is a discord screenshot but Womayhem said this so you can take this as an official statement.

Also, I know people want the Future to be out already in some form of Early Access, and I've brought this up on a different forum already, but servers are a hard thing to fix, let alone maintain for such a small group of people. You can't expect any dev to just magically fix every issue with a wave of their magic jazz hands.
On the topic of servers, look at ToonTown: Corporate Clash's thing that happened two nights ago. The game opened, and then a massive server outage occurred. So, server issues is not just a problem for this mmo, it's for a lot of them, and it's taken them two days so far to work on it.

Why play that when rewritten already exists
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That's what I've been thinking as well, but, that's off topic.

I know this is off-topic but, Rewritten is the base game, it is so similar to ToonTown Online with few additions and improvements, but ToonTown Corporate Clash is like FusionFall Legacy, new areas new level system, new racing level system, new gag track, new missions, upgraded textures and 60 fps gameplay and more.

Nice, I like that gas mask akin to the Putrid Spawns. Definitely a cool enemy to fight amidst a frozen wasteland (or simply just in Ice King's Castle.)

Suggestions / Freezy Spawn-Bot (Temporary Name)

      Hello! In this topic, I want to share a monster design. My drawing is bad because I had to draw with a mouse.
     
      So this monster can be found in snowy areas. Think, a spawn riding a ufo type machine to float around (and have an effect while they are floating which I draw in the picture), freeze everyone with their freeze machine and strike them with their hammer!

      The spawn in the machine wears a mask and the spawn itself is turquoise, which is like an ice spawn.

      I thought how devs can implement the combat. This monster will slow down our character (basically a debuff) with the freeze machine and attack with their hammer.

      Here is the design of it (2 things that are behind the monsters are ice/water tanks like an ammo.)

Is the stuff holding back the announcement due to the development, Kevman, or something else, I’m just wondering.

Without getting into specifics, it's as a result of development.

I have 2 questions
1- Is Kevman ok?
2- From 1 to 10, how finished is Retro (in general, or with the release of Sneak Peek Weekend) atm? (Im not trying to cause hype, but just wanting to know :P)

I think it was better that you all delayed the announcement. Must feel pretty bad or weird to have a pretty crucial member go. Hopefully you guys are doing ok.

I don't want to speak for the man himself, but as far as I'm aware he's doin' alright. There's not really a number you can assign the development, but personally, having seen development firsthand, it looks like a solid 8 or 9.


Anyway, is the Eduardo pathing bug still an issue, and if so, is it still the primary issue at hand? If not, (if you can say yet) what is the major issue currently blocking release?

Eduardo is the number one priority at the moment, though I know progress has been made. As far as I know, it's been mostly behind the scenes stuff, but it's still coming along. After that, some thing have to be done with the launcher itself, and as far as I'm aware, we'll be good to go for at least the sneak peek. Assuming things go smoothly, launch wouldn't be too far behind that, but there's always the possibility some things have to be changed before launch.

The announcement will not have news regarding a release date for anything Retro related.

Then I hope the development part will be about Legacy, It has been a while.

For what it's worth, I'm talking to the rest of the team about getting a formal announcement out relatively soon, hopefully tonight, in order to inform everyone as best we can on recent happenings within the team and with development.

 Yes, I am looking forward to it, as well as rest of the community. Whatever is said in the announcement will be vital for the well-being of the community as a whole. This is big news and I hope everyone will be happy with the announcement.

Thank god, an official announcement! I hope the announcement will calm down the community.  :)

Wait wait, devan and womayhem is not the only devs we have, we have total of 12 devs, which 11 of them works on Legacy and only womayhem works on retro, womayhem still working hard on the game and I'm sure the game will come out this year, don't worry.

I'm hoping that we have another building stream, maybe even on August 29, 2018, in memory of 5 years of the game being closed. That's why they did the one on August 28, 2016, because it had been 3 years.

I hope so! It was so so fun!  :)
