I believe C# was used for the development of the original game client and server. I don't think Legacy is at a stage where it would require coding, but Retro's server is written in C++, and I'm guessing the client alterations are done with C#.

Just a few hours ago one of my kids and I were going down memory lane and talking about FF. It was their first MMO.

And I just found this site!

I've been programming C++ (but on unix platforms) since the 90s - is there any need for bugfixes or algorithm tightening? I can sign any NDAs you'd like. :)

Would love to be able to blow off my spare time zapping monsters ... 5 minutes at a time. :)
