FusionFall Retro Weekly Updates - Coco's Eggs
« on: February 09, 2018, 09:01:03 PM »
Hey everyone! This update covers Coco Eggs, including what they were, what they did, and how they were used.

As with the original game, Retro sees the return of Coco Eggs. Orange Coco Eggs just give players short buffs, like run or jump, but golden Coco Eggs contain crates which in turn have Power Items, Gumballs, and even some fun gear or accessories. These eggs could quite seriously be found everywhere in the world, from Sector V to Fuse’s Lair, and even in the Future zone!

Unfortunately, we don’t have any real game data about where these Coco Eggs would spawn. Instead, we’ve had to rely on memory and screenshots and footage of the original game. Just as well, certain Coco Eggs have some information about which area they might appear, so we can use that in conjunction to get a pretty good idea. You can expect to find these things in just about every nook and cranny around the Future when we release multiplayer, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.

In order to keep Coco Eggs somewhat interesting, we’ve expanded the Gold Coco Eggs’ drop list to include a few more items aside from the usual Power Items, Gumballs, and accessories. Now you can expect to find a few more accessories and gear to match the level of the area you find them in. Just like with item drops, we were able to include a couple unreleased items in there, so be sure to keep a lookout!

As always, thanks for reading our latest weekly update.
