FusionFall Retro Weekly Updates - Features and Content Updates

Hey everyone, this update will better details the features you guys can expect at launch, how we intend to include more features after multiplayer’s release, and what it will take to get the Past zone released!

First and foremost, as many of you may have noticed, we’ve covered loads and loads and features through our weekly updates recently, including many that weren’t slated for the initial multiplayer release of Retro. As it turns out, most features would be better off implemented in some capacity, rather than turned off from the get go as a result of the way the game works. As mentioned in our recent vehicles update, without vehicles being implemented, trying to use them would result in the game getting stuck and forcing players to quit and log back into the game. We’ve been trying to mitigate as many crashes and freezes as possible from the original to deliver the best gameplay experience.

That said, we’re intending to launch multiplayer with only a few features left unimplemented so that we can get the game in your hands once its totally playable and left without unintended behavior. In the meantime, we can then focus on getting those few features implemented properly. This includes Infected Zone Racing, Trading, and possibly a couple others.

Once we’ve released multiplayer and those additional few features are in place, we should be set to take on the Past zone. While it may seem more challenging to make than the Future zone, all features will be complete, so all we’ll need to do is set up the appropriate monsters around the world and ensure the Past is playable, start to finish.
