How well is Legacy's development going?
« on: November 12, 2018, 03:22:03 PM »
This thread is probably unnecessary since the devs have already confirmed that they prefer to keep things silent for the moment but it's been almost two years since the last update. A mini progress post on what's been happening since July 18th wouldn't hurt. This seemed like a good idea at the start since the community's focus with Legacy get little jolts of activity when new info gets posted.

You are right that we have not heard much on the Legacy progress.

I haven't heard about them getting a server to work. If so, I wish them well, as Legacy is an ambitious project.

But I do agree: I am curious about what they have in store.

They pretty much confirmed Legacy's next updates will be for the earlier parts of the game. I feel like they should put up the tutorial on youtube like they did with Retro and keep everything else a surprise.

What I want to know goes more into detail about the programming/server/network stuff since that, to me, seems like the biggest issue.

Well, as long as the Legacy team update us, I can wait.

It doesn't really have to be an update. I'd be okay with one quick progress post. Nothing too big but something that brings the Legacy board out of its drought.

Maybe putting this in the Development discussion was a bad idea.

This is right behind the manga discussion in the slowest boards.

Bump.

What happened to Funske, Tech Thenoob, Kris, and Panman? Are they helping with Retro now?
