Fight Club: the film that changed the way I see the world, made me stop giving a frick and quit consumerism and materialism.
The Dark Knight: I love how it disguises itself as a superhero blockbuster but is actually a masterpiece of noir, that Joker is absolutely amazing, but my favorite is Mark Hamill.
The Lion King: my childhood, Scar is the best Disney villain.

In no particular order.

Donnie Darko.

Tron: Legacy.

Watchmen. (Director's cut.)

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The world.

I might add more later. But this wall all I could think of now.

Nice to know that I'm not the only one who likes Tron: Legacy. In-fact Retron, my profile name, comes from a combination of Retro and Tron.

For me it would have to be The Wizard of Oz, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and Hook. Very uplifting and inspiration films for me.

Okay, I don't know if the second counts as uplifting or inspirational. That ending scene. That just broke me.

This is a hard one. It mostly reminded me of how many films I still need to watch.

I'm defining 'favourite' as films I've enjoyed re-watching many times, or thought about a lot after viewing, or has several really interesting ideas that may or may not have been executed well but inspired me in my own work nonetheless. Or a combination of all three.

12 Angry Men
2001: A Space Odyssey
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Alien
At Eternity's Gate
Batman: Under the Red Hood
Batman: Year One
Blade Runner
Blade Runner 2049
Chef
Dollars trilogy
Eat Drink Man Woman
Five Fingers for Marseilles
Goodfellas
In Bruges
Inception
Ip Man
John Wick trilogy
Planet of the Apes trilogy
Leon: The Professional
Loving Vincent
Man of Steel
Mission: Impossible
Monsters, Inc.
Nightcrawler
Rango
Ratatouille
Seven Samurai
Shrek
Shrek 2
Spider-Man 2
Taxi Driver
Tarzan
Tampopo
The Battle of Algiers
The Grand Budapest Hotel
The Hunt
The Incredible Hulk
The Kid
The King of Comedy
The Truman Show
What We Do In The Shadows
Zombieland
