Hi, excuse me, after the update I got an issue with the Unity Web player, it seems to be trying to download it automatically but does not, and also I tryed to reinstalle the game and nothing happen, I mean, the same issue. I was playing normal until the update  :'( What can I do?

Actually, I want to try downloading the last version manually but first I dont know which it is and second, of course I can't find it. If you have the exe please share it!

Try cleaning your ~/.wine or ~/.wine_fusionfall folder and doing the installation again.

I just got a brand new light weight laptop and installed linux mint 19 cinnamon on it. Computer works great however when I went to try to install fusionfall I started with the automatic installer script and I couldn't load the web player. After a lot of attempts to get it to work I tried just copying over the install from my other linux installation and now the web player actually manages to load and I can select a character and hop into the game....

One small problem though... Once the web player actually loads the screen is just straight up black. I can interact with it and log into my character as I said above but I have no way to see literally anything.

Anyone have any idea whats going on? I really want to play fusionfall on this thing and it stands to reason a laptop with 2018 hardware (even budget end) can run a game from 2009 right?

If it helps diagnose I have an intel n4000 cpu and integrated graphics only.

Your laptop should be fine. It's probably a library issue, some graphics package is probably missing from your system. I don't know which one, nor how to figure out which one :(. The best I can do for you is give you a list of all the library packages that I installed to make it work: https://www.forums.fusionfalluniverse.com/index.php?topic=15432.msg295428#msg295428

I'm also having troubles. I'm stuck at the dexlabs loading screen, one of the files refuses to load. I'll update y'all if I find a fix.

As of 2019-02-28, The launcher and Retro both install and run! I've updated the installer script, AND have published an install config that you can use with Lutris. I highly recommend Lutris to manage your Linux games. I'm currently waiting for my submission to be approved, if you want to use it ASAP I've posted the config to my GitHub.

Installer updates

I have updated my installer script to make use of DXVK libraries if they are installed on the system, and the Lutris script to enable DXVK by default and upgrade the wine version used. These changes were necessary after a reinstall on my system gave only black screens and sadness. DXVK is not required but I found makes the game run better with fewer crashes.
