FusionFall: Retro Devblog 008

Due to some recent breakthroughs, we’ve found a way to edit the game client! For those of you who aren’t quite sure what this entails, we’re now able to fix bugs that caused the game to crash as well as add a report button to the player interaction menu.

If you see someone breaking the rules while ingame, there’s now a way to let the moderators know! Of course, you’ll be required to provide a reason with your report. Making sure FusionFall Retro is a safe, friendly environment is one of our top priorities, after all!

If you spot any bugs or remember any that caused the game to crash, please let us know and we’ll try to fix them right away. At this point, we’ve done a few things:
  • Fixed the vehicle bug in the tutorial that caused the game to lock up when the V key was pressed.
  • Removed the trash icon in the bottom right of the inventory screen that caused a crash.
  • Added a report button to the other player menu.
The trash icon that we removed also allowed you to drag & drop items rather than right clicking on them and clicking delete. If you guys used this feature often, let us know and we’ll add it back (without) the crashing.

That’s all for now, but we’ll be back with more development info next time!
